A Buffet a Deux Corps, French for "Buffet With Two Bodies", is typically a large two part antique storage cabinet, of a French Provincial style, typically made of a fruit wood, with a lower base and a narrower upper section. These cabinets provided storage for both kitchen and dining functions which in the 18th or 19th French Provinces were both housed in one large room.
