COMMENTS: This painting is a street scene of one of the streets in Salvador Brazil with buildings on both sides of the street, leading to the bay of Bahia. On the horizon one can view the boats that are anchored in the bay. There are people engaged in various activities. The colors are very vibrant. Brazil is a very colorful, action filled place and this picture projects that beautifully. This painting dates to the 1960's.
