COMMENTS: This painting is of the intersection of 63rd And Lexington Avenue - the view from the 2nd Floor of 139 E. 63rd St., in New York City. Seymore Thompson was born in Oregon on Feb. 11, 1910. Thompson settled in Los Angeles in the early 1930's where attended the Chouinard Art Institute. He served in the Navy during WWII. This painting dates to the 1960's.
