Comments: Sidnee Livingston studied at New York University and the National Academy of Design. She was a member of Artists Equity Association and the National Association of Women Artists. She exhibited at: Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Kansas City Art Museum, Butler Art Museum, St Louis Museum, Springfield Art Museum, Joslyn Art Museum, Illinois State Museum, National Academy of Design, American Watercolor Society, Art Institute of Chicago, Denver Art Museum, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, University of Nebraska, Ohio State University, Library of Congress, Whitney Museum of American Art, Dayton Art Institute, Jersey State Museum. One person exhibitions were presented at Wellons Gallery, NYC; Association of American Artists, Chicago; Saltpeter Gallery, NYC; Martello Museum, Key West, Fla; and touring exhibitions at Southern University and others. She is represented in collections in Universities, Museums and private collections in France, Sweden, Italy, England, Switzerland, and the U.S. (The largest private collection had been held by the late actor Sir John Gielgud.)

Mrs. Livingston had won numerous awards and has exhibited in Paris, Greece, Scotland, England and other European cities as well as Japan. She is included in "Who's Who of American Women"; "Who's Who of the East"; "Encyclopedia Internationale Degli Artists 1971"; "Who's Who of American Art, Artists USA 1971-72"; "International Who's Who in Art 1972" (English Version); "Car Dictionary of Artists Of North America".

Although she worked in all mediums, she was perhaps best known for her monotypes.
